Mike's role in Ambient involves application architecture, networking systems, and general application development. Mike works flexibly on front end or back end systems, and has acted as the primary backbone engineer for some of our products. His work produced technology such as the cross platform internet tools in the Goblin toolkit, the file sharing system used in HelloWorld, and a number of other systems relating to data management. Mike moves between backbone and front end coding as is required, putting out fires and filling in gaps.
Mike came to Ambient from a database and networking development company in which he served as a senior engineer. His work there involved the creation of an internet based point of sale system based on a peer to peer structure.
Mike's technology credits include the backbone and network systems in HelloWorld, and a number of pieces of technology currently in development in house.
